MANUFACTURE OF OPTICAL SHAPED ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the wastefulness of a photo-setting material and to improve the shape holding accuracy of a shaped article by a method wherein a liquid pasty photo-setting resin is irradiated with beam while emitted in a string state to be cured. CONSTITUTION:A liquid pasty photo-setting resin 45 is emitted from the leading end of the emitting nozzle 5 connected to a tank receiving the liquid pasty photo-setting resin. The orifice 50 of the emitting nozzle 5 is formed into an oblong rectangular shape to emit the liquid pasty resin 45 into a flat strip shaped string state. After the liquid pasty resin is emitted in a string shape, the emitted resin is successively irradated with laser beams 60, 6 to be heated and cured while the emitting nozzle 5 and laser beam, that is, a beam irradiation mechanism are integrally moved and the photo-set part 43 composed of the continuously emitted string-shape liquid pasty resin 45 is spirally laminated so as to draw an objective three-dimensional shape. By this method, a resin material may be reduced and curing is easy and a curing time is also shortened and a shaped article having high shape accuracy is obtained.
