1. A sector-shaped screen segment for rotating disc filters or thickeners with a folded screen for thickening fiber suspensions, comprising a frame (20, 22, 30) having a radially outer leg (20) and a lateral leg (22) at each of its two sides which extend, in particular, in radial direction, two screen carriers (16) being attached to said legs and forming screen supports arranged in axially spaced relationship to one another and, together with a screen (10) resting thereon, the two main surfaces of said screen segment, both said screen carriers (16) and said frame legs (20, 22, 30) being in the form of molded parts, characterized in that said screen (10) is embedded in said frame legs (20, 22, 30) and said screen carriers (16).
