<p>PURPOSE:To easily diagnose a sensor operation in a short time by inputting a signal, repeating the reflection and transmission of a microwave from a microwave oscillator according to a pulse array by means of a switching element, and diagnosing the sensor operation. CONSTITUTION:In the newly added operation diagnosing function part, when the signal is inputted from an operation diagnosing function control terminal 19, a control part 17 activates a pulse driver circuit 16, and the pulse array is impressed on a switching diode 15 as a bias. Further according to the pulse array, the reflection and transmission of the microwave are repeated from a microwave oscillator 10 in the loading area of the switching diode 15. Consequently by the output signal from an alarm output terminal 18, whether or not a sensor holds an excellent detecting function is diagnosed. Thus reproducibility and reliability are increased, and the more accurate diagnosis is attained in a short time.</p> |
