PURPOSE:To surely carry out cop-build operation, by varying the rotational speed of a spindle during one lifting step in a manner to synchronize the feeding speed to the winding speed of a spun yarn and changing the speed variation ratio of a speed regulator during the transfer process of a spindle carriage. CONSTITUTION:The output rotational speed of a speed regulator 21 driven by a control motor 22 is varied during the transfer process of a spindle carriage 13 based on the output signal of a displacement detector detecting the transferred position of the spindle carriage. The rotational speed during one lifting step is varied in a manner to synchronize the feeding speed to the winding speed of a spun yarn. The speed variation ratio of the speed regulator 21 is changed according to the progress of cop-build in the case of forming a cop bottom and the cumulative rotational number of spindle during one lifting step is gradually decreased. A cop is formed under uniform winding tension of the spun yarn. |
