发明名称 THERMALLY TRANSFERABLE IMAGE-RECEIVING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the film properties of an image-receptive layer such as film strength, solvent resistance and anti-thermal fusion by developing a hard film image-receptive layer using a film hardening agent on a support and allowing the layer to undergo specific thermal processes. CONSTITUTION:In a thermally transferable image receiving material with an image-receptive layer which receives colors transferred from a thermally transferable color-donative material on a support, the image-receptive layer has a hard film hardened by at least one kind of film hardening agent. The thermally transferable image-receptive material is allowed to undergo thermal processes in an atmosphere at 35 deg.C to 80 deg.C after the formation of the image-receptive layer on the support. The thermal processes mean the maintenance of the image- receptive material the mentioned temperature for two hours or more, preferably for two hours to one month, especially for four hours to two weeks and further for six hours to one week. The film hardening agent may be one capable of hardening the polymer film of the image-receptive layer. Preferably the isocyanate film hardening agent is recommended for polyester resin.
