<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate collecting operations by providing rotary shelves for every picking place to read the order number of carried-in loads and to pick the loads on the rotary shelves, and collecting the loads of the same number to carrying-outlets when picking operations of the loads of the same order number of all the picking places are completed. CONSTITUTION:Based on an offered picking list, loads are picked on each picking place and carried to respective carrying-inlets 2A-2B, and loaded into buckets 29 after bar codes on the picking list are read. At the same time as the loading operations are completed, a completion switch (not shown in the figure) is operated. By this operation signal, all picking places where carrying-in is completed for every order number are stored in controllers of vertical rotary shelves 3A-3C. Further, when all picking operations are completed for the same order number, the buckets 29 of all the rotary shelves 3A-3C are driven to move and collect the loads to carrying-outlets 1A-1C. The collecting operations can thus be made easier.</p> |
