NEW MATERIAL:A hybrid protein containing a partial peptide of an acidic fibroblast growth factor (aFGF) protein and a basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) protein, having fibroblast growing action. USE:A promoter for treating wound, etc., having a wide effective concentration range and low cell state changing induction activity. PREPARATION:For example, DNA fragment cut out from cDNA of one of aFGF and bFGF using a restriction enzyme is linked to a proper site of cDNA of other FGF by using DNA ligase to constitute recombinant DNA to code hybrid protein. Then, the recombinant DNA is connected to the downstream of a promoter in vector by a well-known method to give a manifestation vector. Successively, a host cell is transformed with the manifestation vector, the transformant [e.g. E. coli MM294 DE3/plys, pTB1073 (IFO 14,968)] is cultured and produced. |
