PURPOSE:To converge knocking at the time of acceleration operation in a short time by making lead/lag correction on a lag quantity at the time of acceleration time according to existence of the knocking, renewing memory data to the corrected lag quantity, and allowing operation according to the corrected lag quantity. CONSTITUTION:When an acceleration operation condition is detected by a means C, lag quantity memoried in a means D is retrieved by a means E under the same operation condition. The retrieved lag quantity is delayed by a means B at the detection time of knocking and corrected by a means F so that it can be advanced at the non-detection time thereof. Memory data of a means D is renewed by a means G to the corrected lag quantity under the same operation condition. On the other hand, ignition timing is set by a means H according to the corrected lag quantity and basic ignition timing set by a means A. An ignition plug I is controlled by a means J so that it is actuated according to the set ignition timing. Consequently, the knocking at the time of acceleration operation is controlled most properly so as to converge it in a short time. |
