PURPOSE:To accurately detect abnormality in a first detecting means by once engaging a clutch, and judging trouble in the first detecting means if there is output from a second detecting means, when there is no output from the first detecting means at on-state of a starter switch. CONSTITUTION:A trouble judging means 40c judges whether a signal from an engine speed sensor 9 (first detecting means) is received or not, when a starter switch 18 and a starter drive line 19c are both on, if not, judges whether a prescribed time is passed or not from ON of the switch 18, and an abnormal plug provided in the RAM territory of a memory 41 is set if there is no signal even at passing of the prescribed time. After confirming the neutral state of a transmission 1, a clutch 6 is once engaged, and it the prescribed time passed, output from an input shaft sensor 5a (second detecting means) is received, and if the value is in a prescribed range, the trouble is judged only to be in the sensor 9. |
