The surface spraying machine has nozzles (1) on a ring (2) supplied with fluid under pressure, and slewing on an axis (3) in a housing (9). The latter has an outlewt union for the fluid from a pump with a bladed rotor (8) behind the nozzle ring and driven by it. The ring is enclosed by a guide casing (73), extending in both axial directions at least for the same distance as itself. The casing wall can be inclined to the slewing axis, typically diverging away from the work surface (0) for less than 20 deg.. ADVANTAGE - Improved exhaustion of particles and spray liquid.
