TRANSFER SHEET FOR EXTERIOR DECORATIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of weatherability and durability by forming a pattern printed layer on a releasable transfer mount paper by using the ink containing a specific mixture as a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A pattern printed layer 2 is formed on a transfer mount paper 1 having a releasing ability such as plastic film by using the ink containing as a vehicle acrylic resin or a mixture of acrylic resin and a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer or fluororesin or mixture of fluororesin and acrylic resin. A solid printed layer 3 is further formed on the pattern printed layer 2 by using a colored ink containing the same vehicle as in the pattern printing, when it is desired to hide the ground of the material to be transferred or there is concern that the transfer mount paper may contact the aforesaid material at the time of transfer. To improve the peeling-off ability between the pattern printed layer 2 and the transfer mount paper 1, an acrylic resin separating agent layer 4 is provided therebetween. This method also affords a protective layer for the pattern printed layer after transfer to improve weatherability.
