EQUIPMENT FOR PRODUCING MONOMOLECULAR FILMS

The appts. of mfg. unimolecular film has a float (9), whose motion is controlled by a weight or magnetic bar in water tank, and a movable plate (1) to adjust the angle between water surface and the plate. Unimolecular film formed on base water surface is moved and irradiated with ultraviolet or electromagnetic wave to be polymerized lest the film should be attached onto the substrate. The device can vertically irradiate the top of movable plate, which is the region least affected by water, with electromagnetic wave or ultraviolet lamp. The material for water tank, float and movable plate is chosen from teflon, polypropylene, glass or quartz.
