A wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted lamp fitting includes an attachment plate (1) which is intended to be secured to an attachment surface (4), such as a ceiling or a wall surface, in the close proximity of an installation cable (3) provided with an electrical outlet (2). The attachment plate supports at least one holder (5) for a bulb (5') and the holder or holders are connected electrically to the electrical outlet on the side of the attachment plate remote from the attachment surface. The lamp fitting is mainly characterized by a reflecting device (6) which is mounted on the side of the attachment plate (1) remote from the attachment surface (4), wherein the reflecting device is located at least in the close proximity of an attachment plate part (7) which is intended to be located in the close proximity of the installation cable (3), so as to limit the temperature of the area in the near vicinity of the installation cable, when the lamp is illuminated. |
