The metal staircase sits in a stairwell between three walls (12.1,12.2,12.3). The supporting stringers are sawtooth shaped to match the stair going and rise and are made out of sheet metal. A fixing (26) connects the inner stringer to the wall and cross piece (75) connects the outer stringer to the inner stringer. Stair treads are laid across the flat or horizontal parts of the top surface of each stringer. Further fixings (61) connect the bottom ends of the stringers to the floor. USE/ADVANTAGE - Adjustable fitting allows this prefab staircase to be fitted to a constructed stairwell without precise measurements.
