<p>To permit a change of the needle boards (5) of an apparatus (2) for needling nonwoven webs, a magazine (19) supports needle boards (5) in superposed slide tracks (20) and the boards (5) are displaceable by a conveyor (24) between the magazine and the needling apparatus (2) in which latter the boards are guided on a track (10), suitably provided on the stripper (9), and are coupled together. The magazine is vertically displaceable to bring the required track (20) into alignment with the track (10) and an intervening track (23). The boards (5) are guided in the tracks (20, 23) by sliders (21) and may be supported on the track (10) by means of trucks (15). The trucks may be omitted, the boards then being guided by sliders received in grooves in board carriers (4). <IMAGE></p> |
