Method for improving the growth and the quality of carcases of domestic swines andruminants intended to the production of meat, whereby the proteinic anabolism is substantially increased, particularly that of the muscular tissues, and the lipogenesis is decreased by augmentation of anabolizing actions of the endogenous growth hormone, the method being characterized in that the animal is administered a valence intended to induce an increase of the basal and pulsed secretion of the growth hormone GH and at least another valence selected amongst valences designed to induce such effect or a GH-potentiating immunomodulation .
