PURPOSE:To miniaturize and to highly stabilize a phase synchronizing oscillator by using a small and highly-stable fixed oscillator instead of a voltage control oscillator and composing the other circuit part with a digital circuit concerning to the phase synchronizing oscillator applied particularly when the frequency of a reference oscillation source is not integer multiple of the frequency of an input signal in relation to the phase synchronizing oscillator generating the output signal of a stable frequency from the input signal including a fluctuation component such as a jitter. CONSTITUTION:The oscillator is provided with the fixed oscillator 101 oscillating at least one fixed frequency, the inequal period frequency dividing circuit 102 of an inequal period frequency dividing rate variable type frequency-dividing the oscillation output signal of a fixed oscillator 101 by inequal period frequency dividing, a phase comparator 103 phase-comparing the input signal and the output signal of the inequal period frequency dividing circuit 102 and a control means 104 controlling to change the inequal period dividing rate of the inequal period frequency dividing circuit 102 so as to eliminate a phase error based on the phase comparing result of the phase comparator 103. |
