<p>Pivotable golf tee 8 comprising a shank-like body 9 with a first end 10 and a second end 12, the first end 10 merging into a head 11 for supporting the golf ball, and the second end 12 merging into a point 13 for fitting the golf tee 8 into the ground. The shank-like body 9 is curved in such a manner that the head 11 and the point 13 do not lie in line with one another. For use, the curved shank-like body 9 has to be fitted into the ground 6 transversely with respect to the shot direction A. The centre axis 15 of the second shank end 12 forms a rotary or pivoting axis for the first shank end 10.
