APPARATUS FOR MEASURING FREQUENCY

The apparatus comprises a clock measuring circuit of a data transmitting system having a controller. A clock selector selects the clock necessary to the transmitting system according to the control of the controller. A control signal generator generates the control signal for selection of the selector. A timer programmably sets a counting mode according to the control of the controller, counts the selected clock of the clock selector, and measures the counted value read out by the controller. The apparatus can simply and exactly measure the use clock of the transmitting system.
