The invention relates to a completely implantable minimally invasive device for assisting blood circulation, which pumps blood in parallel with the heart, discharging the left atrium directly into the arterial system, with the effect of removing congestion and increasing the cardiac flow in patients with severe ventricular dysfunction, the device exhibiting smooth non-turbulent pumping and being made of bio-compatible materials, with minimum costs. According to the invention, the device consists of an electric motor (1), a mechanical transmission (2), a pump (3), an electronic circuit (4) and a case (5). |
