HARD SURFACE TREATMENT COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

The present invention is in the field of hard surface treatment compositions. The invention particularly relates to hard surface treatment compositions that provide easier cleaning upon the subsequent cleaning. The hard surface treatment composition comprises 0.01-1 wt.% of polyaluminium-chloride (PAC); 0.01-1 wt.% of soap of C-Cfatty acid; 0.05-1 wt.% of a surfactant selected from non-ionic surfactants or quaternary ammonium cationic surfactants; 0.05-1 wt.% of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol); and 0.1-1 wt.% of a quaternary silicon oil; wherein the composition has a pH of between 3 and 5, and the ratio of PAC:soap is between 3:2 and 2:3. Upon treating a substrate with said composition the surface of the substrate becomes hydrophobic which leads to stain repellence and provides good cleaning of the surface.
