Electrical current sensor for multi-phase electricity meter

The sensor includes a generator (8) which generates a voltage signal applied to a module (5) which supplies two identical separated signals. One of the signals is applied to a coder-comparator (3) while the other is applied to the analogue input of a sample generator (7).A converter (2) generates an image voltage which is representative of the current measured (I) which flows through a cable (1). The voltage is applied to the coder-comparator where it is compared with the reference signal. A second module (4) receives the coded output of the coder and sends it to a controller (6) which constitutes the operator interface.
