The assembly pin with a detachable head of several sections consists of a cylindrical smooth rod provided at one of its ends with a head (8). The rod (6), is inserted successively through holes in the parts to be assembled (2,4) and then into the first piece to hold in contact one against the other. The detachable head, (10) is made up of a male cone with a hole having a diameter roughly equal to that of the rod and a longitudinal slot (14) and a clamp (16) of an annular form with an internal female conical hole which radially locks round the male cone (12) to clamp this cone onto the surface of the rod.
