摘要 The invention relates to nuclear science and can be used in the development of experimental and industrial facilities based on the use of weak interactions of elementary particles produced, for example, in beta -decay, and also in astrophysical research. Control of the weak interactions of elementary particles from a material (5) involves the following steps: in the region of space where the material (5) is located, a spatial zone (4) is created in which the value of the sum vector potential (3) (Asum) is lower than the magnitude of the cosmological vector potential (2)(Ag), the former being equal to the sum of the current vector potential (1)(A) and the cosmological vector potential (2)(Ag); at least part of the mass of the material (5) is acted on by varying the magnitude of the sum vector potential (3)(Asum) and/or by setting it to different values. The spatial zone (4) with a reduced value of sum potential (3)(Asum) is created by subjecting this zone (4) to a field of current vector potential (1)(A) which is aligned at an angle of between 90 DEG and 270 DEG to the cosmological vector potential (2)(Ag). The field of current vector potential (1)(A) is created either by passing an electric current through current-conducting elements arranged in the region of space containing the material (5), or by placing permanent magnets in that region, or, alternatively, by using a natural field of vector potential, such as that of the Earth, as the field of current vector potential (1)(A). The sum vector potential (3)(Asum) can be varied and/or set to different values either by altering the magnitude and/or direction of the electric current passing through the current-conducting elements, or by altering the relative positions of the material and the source of the field of vector potential (1)(A), or alternatively, by altering the orientation of the vector of the current vector potential (1)(A) relative to the vector of the cosmological vector potential (2)(Ag).
