The invention relates to a profile die (3) for extruders (1) with individually activatable temperature-control elements (4a, 4b) influencing the flow behaviour of the material. The temperature-control elements (4a, 4b) are arranged in the flow channel (3a') of the material, downstream of the screw (2) of the extruder (1) and upstream of the profile-defining region (3c) of the die (3), in such a manner that the temperature of the extruded material can be increased in selected zones of the cross-section. By this means, it is possible, even in the case of complicated cross-sections and in the case of different profile-defining parts not equipped with temperature-control elements (4a, 4b), to influence the wall thickness of the profile. <IMAGE> |
