The invention relates to devices for combustion of fuel, preferably solid fuel, and can be used in heating systems of residential and industrial buildings. The technical objective of the invention is higher efficiency of heat energy utilisation and higher ecological efficiency of the boiler operation, which is attained by provision of a combustion chamber 2 of the boiler with rectangular plates 12 arranged at the corners and interconnected with wells 13, 14, the wall 17 of the outlet well 14 being located at a higher level than the wall 15 of the inlet well 13 by a distance h≥t where t is the well width, and h is the distance of location of the outlet well wall. Such design of a water-heating boiler allows maximum utilisation of the heat energy obtained in combustion of solid fuel providing maximum ecological cleanliness and high operational reliability of the system of heat supply to residential and industrial rooms. |
