FIELD: agricultural machinery. SUBSTANCE: device has disk 1 mounted on vertical shaft 4 which is seated on intermediate lever 5. Control lever 2 is connected with intermediate lever 5 by means of hinge. Thinning and weeding are effected by operator through the medium of control lever 2. In adjustment, rotating disks are moving towards or away from row line. For extracting plants, disks 1 are moving towards each other, and for leaving plants they are parted away. In thinning operation, weeding also takes place. After thinning, some time later weeding must be performed. Rotating disks 1 kill weeds without damaging sugar beet. Milling cutter kills weeds and tilts soil between sugar beet rows. In thinning and weeding, travel speed of device is sufficiently low. Only slight modification is needed to adapt device for cutting sugar beet tops. EFFECT: high efficiency. |
