Novel cosmetic or dermatological compositions including a cosmetically acceptable carrier containing at least one solution or emulsion of at least one multi-block polycondensate with a chain consisting of a repetition of at least one polysiloxane block and at least one polyurethane and/or polyurea block. Said polyurethane and/or polyurea block further comprises ionisable groupings and said polycondensate is dissolved in an aqueous, organic or hydro-organic solvent system. Said compositions are particularly useful in the cosmetic field of hair care, make-up or skin care.
