A weighing device for use on a rotary table (14) of a filling machin which includes a load cell (26) arranged perpendicular to a radial line (32) emanating from the center of rotation (16) in tangential orientation to the direction of table rotation in order to reduce the effect of centrifugal forces (Fc) acting on the load cell.
