FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding aluminum wire under metal surface through channel of immersible fire-resistant cup and simultaneously supplying neutral gas into channel at flow rate of 0.06-0.45 cu. m/h/ton of steel, with aluminum wire being fed at speed of 2-12 m/sec. Apparatus has rotary stand, carrying drive tribometers, guides and drive rollers as well as wire guiding pipe. Fire-resistant cup and pipeline are connected to wire guiding pipe. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of worked steel. |
