FIELD: manufacture of fittings; chemical, radiochemical and other industries; shut-off valves and safety devices for protection of equipment and pipe lines against overpressure. SUBSTANCE: device includes body with seat, inlet and outlet branch pipes and shut-off member fitted on stem; shut-off member has body with through radial slots, guide member, knife unit and diaphragm. Body of shut-off member is made in form of threaded bush with cover and inner circular projection with knife unit fitted on its upper surface; diaphragm is secured on lower surface where locking member is also located. Locking member is made in form of slide block received by slot of intermediate ring fitted between guide member and diaphragm. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 3 dwgr
