4-[(BENZO-2,1,3-THIADIAZOLYL-4)-AMINO]-5,6,7,8-TETRAHYDROBEN-ZOTHIENO-[2,3-D]-PYRIMIDINE SHOWING ANTHELMINTIC ACTIVITY IN LARVAL ALVEOLAR ECHINOCOCCOSIS

FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes new heterocyclic compound, - 4-[(benzo-2,1,3-thiadiazolyl-4)-amino] -5,6,7,8-tetrahydroben-zothieno-[2,3-d] -pyrimidine showing the improved anthelmintic activity. Compound provides an effective inhibition of growth of larvocysts of alveolar echinococcus (by 90.8%) and death of the most part of parasitic larvocysts (by 70-90%) in infected cotton rats in experiment as compared with the known antiechinococcosis preparation mebendazol. The proposed compound shows low toxicity and tolerated by mice at the dose 4.0 g/kg without any toxic symptoms. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of new compound indicated above. 1 tblr
