METHOD OF PRODUCING POLYMER-BITUMEN BINDING MATERIAL

FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method consists in mixing thermoplastic polymer and bitumen heated to 170-180 C in mixing apparatus. Bitumen and thermoplastic polymer are simultaneously fed into apparatus wherein high- speed (of order of 170-180 C) stream of binding material is created. Inside this stream, local reduced-pressure (<EMI ID=0.98 HE=6 WI=39 TI=CHI> Pa) zones emerge to induce intensive dispersing and dissolution of polymer in bitumen. EFFECT: speeded up process and reduced power consumption. 2 tbll
