摘要 [Problem] The objective of the present invention is to homogenize the size of fuel particles in a spray mist during the initial stage of fuel injection, in order to prevent large droplets that are difficult to vaporize from being generated in the spray mist during the initial stage of fuel injection. [Solution] This nozzle plate (3) for fuel injection devices is disposed facing a fuel injection port of a fuel injection device, and nozzle holes (6) through which fuel that has been emitted from the fuel injection port passes are formed in the nozzle plate. In the nozzle plate (3) for fuel injection devices, the shape of a fuel inflow side open end (6a) of each nozzle hole (6) is circular, and the nozzle hole (6) is coupled to the fuel injection port by way of fuel guiding grooves (15, 16). Further, in the fuel guiding grooves (15, 16), the groove width of an opening portion (20) to the nozzle hole (6) is less than the diameter of the nozzle hole (6), and one groove sidewall (21) from among a pair of opposing groove sidewalls (21 and 22) is formed in such a way as to extend in the direction of a tangent to the nozzle hole (6), the configuration being such that fuel is caused to flow directly into the nozzle hole (6), thereby causing a spiral fuel flow to be generated in the nozzle hole (6).
