[Problem] To provide an illumination device and an optical member with which it is possible, while increasing the light utilization efficiency, to emit light by varying the light distribution angle and obtain collimated parallel light. [Solution] An LED illumination device 100 is provided with: an LED element 1; a first optical member 130 having a first shaping lens part 131 for collecting center light flux 1c emitted from the LED element 1 and emitting narrow-angle light in the optical axis 110a direction, and a second shaping lens part 132 for collecting peripheral light flux 1o emitted around the periphery of the center light flux 1c from the LED element 1 and emitting narrow-angle light in the optical axis 110a direction; and a second optical member 140 provided so that the distance from the first optical member 130 in the optical axis 110a direction can be varied, the second optical member 140 collecting light emitted from the first optical member 130 and turning the collected light into parallel light at a predefined distance d0. |
