The device has a sensor circuit, which includes a heated resistance type flow detector and a temperature compensating resistor. Its output signal is converted into a digital signal in an A/D converter (41) and corrected for errors due to flow pulsations using data stored in a PROM. The processed signal is filtered and then converted in a D/A converter into an analogue signal with a voltage value equivalent to the sensor circuit signal.
