The garment consists of a top (2) with or without sleeves (4), and a bottom section (6) which covers the infants legs while allowing wide freedom of movement. The lower edge of the garment has fastenings such as press studs or (13) adhesive strips which allow it to be opened for nappy changing. The garment also has two central sliding clasp fasteners (15, 16) which allow the open bottom section to be converted into trouser legs, and additional fastenings (14) to allow the length of the legs to be adjusted.
