PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card carrying device for maintaining the safe traveling of a shuttle along a guide shaft as much as possible. SOLUTION: A cylindrical moisture absorbing member 32 into which a guide shaft 9 is internally fitted is arranged between the bearings of a pair of bearing parts 10 and 11, and when the pair of bearings 10 and 11 are moved along the shaft 9, moisture 19 adhered to the peripheral face of the guide shaft 9 is absorbed by the cylindrical moisture absorbing member 32.
