摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup member having excellent repetitive/ environmental stability, an independent layer discharge, no practically adverse change in performance over a long period, and solvent resistance by providing a support substrate, a hole cutoff layer containing a specific bridged polymer on the substrate, a light generating layer and a charge transporting layer. SOLUTION: This photoconductive image pickup member is provided with a support substrate, a hole cutoff layer containing a bridged polymer expressed by a formula on the substrate, a light generating layer and a charge transporting layer. In the formula, E is an electron transporting component, A, B, C indicate the segment of the polymer backbone containing appropriate bivalent bonding, for example, (x), (y), (z) are the mole fraction of the repeating monomer unit, and x+y+z is about 1. In a further embodiment, in the formula, (x) is about 0-0.95, (y) is about 0.01-about 0.50, and (z) is about 0.01-about 0.50 in this photoconductive image pickup member.
