PURPOSE: A noise preventing structure of an outdoor unit is provided to minimize the diffusion of vibrating noise generated in a compressor, to restrain the delivery of the vibration to other components and to make firm the combined state of the components. CONSTITUTION: A noise preventing structure of an outdoor unit is formed by forming a closed curved line groove(10a) on the circumference of a base plate(10) at a certain depth and width, partitioning the inner area of the closed curved line to secure a compressor installing area, surrounding a compressor(20) or the compressor and an accumulator(30) by absorptive noise damping material(110) having certain thickness and area, and inserting the bottom of the absorptive noise damping material to the closed curved line groove. Herein, the space between the base plate and the absorptive noise damping material is removed so that the vibrating noise generated in the compressor is prevented. And the leakage of the noise is effectively cut off because the compressor installing area is formed at higher position than the outer area of the closed curved line groove.
