PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely increase the pressure bonding force of a conical disc to a wrapping member, continuously control a wrapping transmission, device and decrease the number of structural members to reduce the cost by constructing a discharge conduit opened to a pressure medium reservoir and/or the pressure medium reservoir to be loaded by back pressure. SOLUTION: A conical disc pair 1 of the input side A and a conical disc pair 2 of the output side B are respectively provided with axially movable disc parts 1a, 2a and axially immovable disc parts 1b, 2b, and a wrapping member 3 is wrapped between both disc pairs 1, 2. To vary the effective diameter of each disc pair 1, 2, control members including cylinder units 4, 5 are provided, and cylinder units 6, 7 are provided operationally in parallel to the cylinder units 4, 5. Pressure load or pressure release to the pressure chambers 6a, 7a of the cylinder units 6, 7 by a reservoir are performed through a control valve 10 formed by fitting a slider 44 to a valve casing.
