PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a work from sliding yielding to a forming pressure of a die in a cross rolling forming machine. SOLUTION: This cross rolling forming machine is provided with a pair of cylindrical rotary bodies 4, which are arranged coaxially to a work 3 between dies 10, 20 to fix both sides of the work 3, and a drive part 5 which rotation- drives these cylindrical rotary bodies 4, a prescribed rotation torque is imparted to the work 3 with allowing the work 3 in forming the displacement in the axial direction.
