The invention concerns a method for determining the initial position of frames from a fixed base, said fixed base transmitting a time division multiple access (TDMA) radio signal at a specific frequency in time intervals in a located geographical zone for communicating with a mobile station located in the same geographical zone using definition rules of specific shifts for faster determination of the start of the frames.
