PURPOSE: A method for predicting illegal usage of a mobile phone is provided to predict the frauds by comparing speech patterns with action patterns of similar-patterned subscribers who are set up as one group, after learning the speech patterns according to the subscribers every month in a frauds retrieving/managing system, and by selecting subscribers seceding from the group as delinquent subscribers to examine various frauds types of the delinquent subscribers. CONSTITUTION: A method for predicting illegal usage of a mobile phone, comprises the steps of: generating each speech pattern for mobile phone subscribers; learning the speech patterns to group subscribers having similar patterns; comparing action patterns with speech patterns of the grouped subscribers, and selecting subscribers seceding from the group as potential delinquent subscribers; and retrieving frauds of the delinquent subscribers according to the patterns, and predicting the mobile phone frauds.
