PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk array device which speedily solves the problem of an I/O conflict occurring to a physical disk without a human error. SOLUTION: In the case of this device 100A, an HDD control 3n is equipped with a disk busy detection part 303 which obtains a disk busy indicating the detected I/O conflict frequencies of logical disks of a physical disk 4n and a comparison part 209 of a host control part 2nA outputs a rearrangement control command for the logical disks when an I/O conflict occurs so that the disk busy exceeds the upper-limit of the busy rate of the physical disk 4n set in a busy rate setting storage 210 from a host. A disk shift judgement part 205 outputs a control command for shifting a logical disk accessed at high frequency detected by a logical disk access frequency detection part 204 to an unused logical disk detected by an unused disk detection part 208 to the HDD control circuit 3n, which executes the control command.
