PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscopic system capable of quickly and safely executing initializing operation in the case of confirming the position of a stage at the time of supplying power. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a revolver 9 constituted to hold plural objective lenses 8 and constituted to selectively arrange the specified objective lens 8 on an observation optical axis, a stage holder 1A movably holding a stage 1 on which a sample S is stacked and positioning it in the field of the lens 8, and motor-driven focusing mechanism moving the revolver 9 or the stage holder 1A along an observation optical axis and performing focusing by adjusting a relative distance between the lens 8 and the sample S on the stage 1. The system is provided with an encoder 19 and a counter 20 detecting the moving amount and the moving direction of the revolver 9 or the stage 1 in the observation optical axis direction, and a power supply control part 30 always supplying the power to the respective operation parts of the microscopic system including power supply to the encoder 19 and the counter 20.
