PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk device capable of stably recording and/or reproducing information even after being given an impact without damaging the signal recording surface of an information recording medium even if the impact is given thereto. SOLUTION: This disk device has a supporting means 15 for supporting the element for recording and/or reproducing the information of a disk-shaped information recording medium 5. The device is so constituted that the contact surfaces 115c and 115d of the supporting means 5 facing the outer peripheral end of the information recording medium 5 are reparated from each other more as going toward the inner periphery of the information recording medium 5 with respect to its respective surfaces.
