PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste oil drain device for hydraulic excavator with a good workability in discharging waste oil of devices such as an engine. SOLUTION: A manifold 20 is mounted on a side part of an upper rotating body 1 and drain cocks 21-23, 18 and 19 mounted respectively on a hydraulic pump driving device 6, an oil pan 12, a hydraulic oil tank 8, and revolving reduction gears 13 and 14 are connected to the manifold 20 via drain hoses 24-28. At the time of a regular replacement of oil, by opening the drain cocks 21-23, 18 and 19, waste oil is introduced to the manifold 20 via the drain hoses 24-28 and thereafter discharged outside from a drain cock 29, and then the waste oil is received in a waste oil receiving tank located just under the manifold 20.
