PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an optimal seating posture for each occupant by moving only a seat portion back and forth even when there is a large difference in physical constitution among seating occupants. SOLUTION: In a vehicle seat with a seat having a seat part and a backrest fixed to the floor of a vehicle by a support, a sliding rail 11 is attached on the support 1 in parallel therewith, a slider 13 attached to both sides of a seat receiving plate 14 is engaged with the sliding rail 11, a seat portion 2 is attached on the seat receiving plate 14, and the seat portion 2 is singly moved.
