PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely hold a lead wire by sealing a recessed groove formed in a housing by a sealing member to form a guide part, and passing the lead wire between the recessed groove and the sealing member in fan motor where the lead wire is guided to the outside by the guide part provided on the housing. SOLUTION: A housing 1 for holding a motor of an axial flow fan motor has a pair of end plate parts 2, an intermediate wall part 3 provided between them, and a fitting plate part 5 connected to the central part of one end plate part 2a through leg parts 4. A guide groove 6 is formed in the outer peripheral edge 25 of one end plate part 2a, and a leg part 8 having a recessed groove 8a for guiding a lead wire 7 inserted from a hole part 5a provided in the fitting plate part 5 is provided in the edge 25. Further, a guide part 9 for guiding the lead wire 7 guided by the guide groove 6 to the other end plate part 2b side is provided, and the guide part 9 is formed by a recessed groove 10 formed in the other end plate part 2b and a sealing member 11 mounted in the recessed groove 10.
